Marin County Watercolor Society is a resource for artists, both new and experience. The organization was established in 1970 by Ruth Alexander Stewart and has been active for 45 years . We offer many opportunities to paint, exhibit, learn and share art ideas.  Activities include group shows in public venues, twice a month paintouts in Marin County, painting trips beyond Marin with other artists, Demonstrations and lectures, Website showing member’s paintings and personal shows, and monthly newsletter.

There is no formal organization. Artists from the Society volunteer for key positions.
