Diane Stavrum


DIANE STAVRUM, S.W.A., was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and spent her childhood in Madison, Wisconsin, and her high school years in Santa Barbara, California. She attended the University of Oregon for two years, pledged to sorority Delta Delta Delta.

Diane attended the University of Oregon, Otis Art Institute,L.A. graduate with her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in painting: she is honored with the Society of Western Artists Signature Award (S.W.A.); has been received in nine national w/c exhibits. Diane has been an instructor in Asilomar and private workshops and critiques and has been called upon to jury several art shows, from Tulare to Merced, California.

Her watercolor paintings have been shown and sold in Galleries in Oakhurst, Fresno, Madera, Oakhurst, Los Olivos, and Carmel, all in California, also privately in Nevada.

Diane now works with acrylic as well as watercolors and lives presently in Petaluma, Ca.
