Marin County Watercolor Society is a resource for artists, both new and with experience. We offer many opportunities to paint, exhibit, learn, and share art ideas. Activities include group shows in public venues, twice a month paintouts in Marin County, painting trips beyond Marin with other artists, demonstrations, the website shows member’s paintings and personal shows, and a monthly newsletter. The Monday Morning Sketch Group locations are posted on the Calendar page. The organization was established in 1970 by Ruth Alexander Stewart.
Artists from the Society volunteer for key positions and help with hanging shows.
