Win Normandi

In my 20+ years as a watercolor artist, my intention has been to elicit a purposeful pause when viewing my work.  My chosen themes consist of Flowers, Fish and Faces.
It is my desire to capture the uniqueness of a single flower and the flow of the natural world with a rush of calm observation.  My desire to see beauty in our daily lives is to rely on evoking an   emotional response.  John O’Donahue defined beauty as: “ anything in the presence of which we feel more alive.”

I am a member of the  537 Magnolia Ave watercolor artists, and the Marin Watercolor Society.  I have studied with local artists:  Cindi Lou Delmas, Christine Cohen, and Cara Brown.  Exhibits include the Marin Fairgrounds, Napa Fairgrounds, in addition to numerous local group shows.
