Scottsdale Pond, at Rowland Blvd & Redwood Blvd

This marsh in Novato is a huge attraction for many kinds of birds including pelicans, egrets, cormorants and ducks. There is a gazebo on the south end of the pond which is great for birding and for painting. Take US 101 north to the Rowland exit in Novato, turn left onto Rowland staying to the right of the San Francisco lane, and turn left onto Redwood Blvd shortly after the US 101 overpass. The Pond is on your left.
